Europe’s first ever Machinima Festival begins at DMU tomorrow, runs until Sunday, and should be a fascinating event. The festival website is at www.machinimaeurope.co.uk, and has details on all the things taking place over the three days, as well as explanations of what Machinima is and how to make it.

The poster above is from the Festival’s presence in Second Life (naturally!) - so if you aren’t able to attend the real festival you can still experience it virtually. If you are a Second Lifer visit HatHead II (245, 159, 313).

The main presentations and panel discussions (see the pdf programme for details) will also be streamed live at www.ioct.dmu.ac.uk/machinima.html .
