Artober is a multidisciplinary contemporary art festival running from the 13th- 28th October, in Leicester, featuring 2 Exhibitions and 2 Open Studios.

The launch takes place on Saturday October 13th from 7pm upstairs at the Firebug Bar. There’ll be music by Aurelie and Mai 68s, improvised noise from Phillip Henderson, and a brand new proto-ballet from Richard Peel.

Over the following 2 weeks there will be Exhibitions at the LCB Depot and Pocklington Gallery, where you can find work from painting and sculpture to photography and video, and Open Studios at Knighton Lane Studios and Leicester Print Workshop.

Additionally you’ll be able to see work around the city including the Phoenix Arts Centre and De Montfort University.
