Artober, Leicester - deadline 26 September 2007
Hello.
We would like to introduce a brand new arts festival occurring in Leicester. It’s happening this October. We’ve called it Artober.
Artober runs from 12th - 26th October 2007 and will showcase multidisciplinary contemporary art around the city.
We’ll launch with a special event which will include art, music, performance, and more… Exhibitions and events follow for the next fortnight - including an exhibition at the LCB Depot and Pocklingtons Gallery, digital art at the Phoenix, as well as Open Studios at from many of the city’s studio groups.

Are you a contemporary artist looking for an opportunity to exhibit?
If the answer is yes then get involved!
To exhibit your work through Artober at the LCB Depot or Pocklingtons Gallery Exhibition; simply complete the form ( www.artober.org ) and send us the requested documentation of your work (see below for details).
Artober is also inviting you to stage your own event or performance, whether in a gallery, warehouse, phone box, or in your front room… it’s up to you. Submit your event information by Wednesday 26th September and we’ll include your information in our publicity.
Whether showing, taking part or visiting, Artober will be an important opportunity to meet fellow artists and creative types from Leicester and surrounding cities so we look forward to seeing you at the Launch event and hope you will spread the word far and wide.
Artober aims to combine the best of Hidden Treasures 2005 and sLideshow 2006, maintaining the momentum of artistic activity in the city for future events.
