To support literature development projects with young people and delivery of the cities live literature programme.
You must have:
- Proven experience in project development in a literary or arts context.
- Experience of working with young people.
- Wide knowledge and understanding of literature in its many forms including live literature, writer development and cross-arts work.
- Ability to manage time and workloads effectively.
- Ability to manage budgets.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.

Part time, 16 hours per week, flexible hours in term time.
To support school based reading groups for young people as part of the Creative Reading Groups Network and Leicester Book of the Year Award.
You must have:
- Experience of working with children, young people and their parents and carers.
- Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of reading and its potential for learning support
- Able to teach creative reading skills.
- Able to assist in the monitoring and evaluation of the project.
- Knowledge of information technology.
- Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends
