Broadway Video Joiners
Jeff Sutton
Inspired by the photographic joiners of David Hockney and by panoramas created on holiday as a child, Jeff has applied these techniques to video production, adding time and movement to create beautiful composites of a space.
Jeff has concentrated on the use of light in dark spaces, interested in the contrast between the screen and the silhouettes of the audience, both in the cinema and the bar.
Jeff is coming from a background in video production and installation art. He has worked on a wide range of creative video-based projects and commissions, including video work for MTV, Channel 4 and visual projections for the Coldcut world tour and the Big Chill.
Bar Screen
August 1 – August 31

Barret Hodgson
Digital Broadway is presenting a joint commission between video artist Barret Hodgson and The Media Archive for Central England, Leicester. Barret has been asked to delve deep into the film vaults that span the 20th century, to produce a new work combining elements from the archive with contemporary digital techniques.
Barret graduated from the Creative Collaborations MA and now heads Vent media, a company specialising in digital video production, live cinema, graphic design and installation.
Digital Broadway is curated and commissioned by Anna Petry and Jeanie Finlay with the support of the Arts Council England.
