The radio play is an art form that marries many genres of art. In line with the idea of transdisciplinarity as we see it, and in view of the current permeability of all art forms, it may evolve from a genuine literary work, possibly in combination with New Music, into an acoustic art installation, at the same time taking advantage of the possibilities offered by contemporary technologies and new media. In honour of Emil Breisach and to mark his 90th birthday, Akademie Graz, Forum Stadtpark, Literaturhaus Graz, ORF Steiermark and steirischer herbst launch the transdisciplinary radio play prize lime_lab.
